The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), is how the Government and early years professionals describe the time in your child’s life between birth and age 5.
They all comply with the purpose and aims of the EYFS which is given legal force through order and regulations made under the Childcare Act 2006.
I have a large 20ft x 20ft playroom where the children spend most of their time if they aren’t playing with the rabbits in their pen, out on exciting trips or popping over to the Equestrian Centre to visit and groom my horse Juliette.
The main house will also be used by the children for meal times, cooking or if they just want to chill.
I have qualifications including:
• First Aid paediatric course
• Childminder Level 3
• Developing children’s learning level 3
• Understanding and working with the EYFS
• Recording children’s development
• Safeguarding children
• Leading and managing a childminding setting
• Understanding behaviour
• Nutrition level 1
• Food hygiene
• Working with children who have special educational needs.
If you’re looking for friendly, home from home childcare in Holbeach St Johns, Spalding, Lincolnshire, then welcome to Mummy Daycare.
Mummy Daycare is committed not only to educating, nurturing and preparing the children in our care for their futures and next steps, but also to supporting, encouraging and equipping parents and carers in their role as the child’s first educator -
Our aim is to provide a happy and healthy environment, meeting the individual health, welfare and development needs of the children in our care.
I work with 2 highly qualified assistants and together we offer not only daycare but a breakfast club and after school club, as well as school drop offs and pick ups.
Please contact me for vacancies letting me know what type of care you require. Also unsocial or flexible hours are available upon request.
I offer many different types of care to suit every situation.
I am also open during school holidays should you require any respite.
Safeguarding in early years is protecting children from any forms of abuse at home and within the setting. It is crucial practitioners can identify the signs of abuse and to be able to deal promptly with the situation in a way that isn’t going to cause further problems.
It is for this reason that I have undertaken Safeguarding and Prevent training. When you come to visit you will be shown my safeguarding policy. I will ensure your child is in a safe environment and always receives the highest quality of care.
Although you are welcome to supply your own food, I am happy to provide food and drink for all children in my care.
Balanced Meals
I provide healthy, balanced meals including one home cooked meal each day.
Healthy Snacks and Drinks
Additionally a selection of healthy snacks are offered and I ensure that fresh drinking water, milk and sugar free squash is available at all times.
Special Dietary Requirements
I will willingly discuss and hope to accommodate any dietary requirements.
Social Mealtimes
I promote sharing a meal together as a social time, enjoyable for everyone. High chairs and appropriate cutlery are supplied for younger children.
